Pricing & Booking
How do I get a price for a dumpster rental?
Call our team at (774) 426-7408 or send details through our contact page and we'll quote your project based on size, location, and how long you need the container. Pricing depends on too many project-specific factors to post one flat number.
How far in advance should I book?
We offer same-day and next-day delivery in many cases, but booking a few days ahead gives you the most flexibility on delivery timing, especially during busier seasons.
Do you offer same-day delivery?
Yes, same-day delivery is often available throughout Plymouth and the surrounding South Shore towns we serve, depending on our schedule that day. Call early in the day for the best chance of same-day service.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Plymouth and the South Shore, including Kingston, Duxbury, Carver, Plympton, Halifax, Pembroke, Wareham, Middleborough, Hanson, Marshfield, Hanover, Whitman, Bridgewater, and Bourne.
Sizes & Placement
What size dumpster do I need?
It depends on the project. A 10 or 15 yard usually covers small cleanouts and single-room remodels, a 20 yard fits whole-house cleanouts and bigger remodels, and a 30 or 40 yard suits major renovation, demolition, or commercial work. Call us and we'll help you size it based on what you're clearing out.
Where can the dumpster be placed?
Most residential rentals go on a driveway. If there's no room, we can discuss placing it in the street, which in Plymouth requires a permit from the town. A paved, level, accessible surface works best wherever it goes.
Will a dumpster damage my driveway?
A properly placed roll-off generally shouldn't damage a driveway in good condition. We can set protective boards under the wheels on request, which is worth asking for on older asphalt, near a driveway edge, or on a soft spot.
Is my driveway soil stable enough for a dumpster?
Most of Plymouth and the South Shore sits on sandy, well-drained glacial outwash soil, which is generally stable under a loaded container. Properties near a pond, bog, or wetland can have a higher water table and softer ground, especially seasonally, so let us know if that describes your property.
How much space does a dumpster need?
Roughly the container's length plus extra room for our truck to maneuver during drop-off and pickup. We'll talk through your specific driveway or site before delivery.
What You Can Throw Away
What items are not allowed in a dumpster?
Hazardous materials, certain electronics, and a handful of other banned items can't go in any of our dumpsters. If you're not sure about something specific, ask our team before you load it.
Can I throw away an old TV or computer monitor?
No. Massachusetts was the first state in the country to ban cathode-ray tube (CRT) glass from old TVs and monitors from landfills and incinerators, and that ban is still in effect. CRT electronics need to go through proper e-waste recycling instead.
Can I throw away a mattress?
No. Massachusetts added mattresses and textiles to its waste disposal ban list in November 2022, so these need to be handled through a separate donation or recycling channel rather than a dumpster.
Can construction debris go in a dumpster?
Yes, construction and demolition debris is one of the most common things we haul. Materials like asphalt, brick, concrete, metal, and wood waste are subject to MassDEP disposal bans and are generally sorted for recycling rather than landfilled.
Can I put yard waste and brush in a dumpster?
Yes, yard waste like brush, branches, and old landscaping material is fine in most of our containers. Let us know the volume so we can recommend the right size.
Permits & Rules
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Plymouth?
A dumpster placed entirely on your own private driveway typically does not require a town permit. If it needs to sit in the street or public right-of-way even briefly, Plymouth's Department of Public Works requires a permit through their Street Opening Permits process — call them for current requirements.
What town department handles dumpster rules in Plymouth?
Plymouth's Department of Public Works administers the town's solid-waste bylaw, Chapter 260 of the Town Code, alongside the separate Street Opening Permits process for anything placed in a public way.
Does Plymouth County regulate or license dumpster companies?
No. Waste hauling in Massachusetts is regulated at the state and local level, not by the county. Plymouth County's government today functions mainly as a Registry of Deeds and court system and has no active role in waste or recycling regulation.
Do the other towns you serve have different permit rules?
Likely, since each town sets its own local requirements. If your project needs a container in a street or public way outside Plymouth, check with that town's Department of Public Works for its specific process.
Are there state rules for construction debris disposal?
Yes. MassDEP maintains a statewide waste disposal ban list covering materials like asphalt, brick, concrete, metals, clean wood waste, gypsum wallboard, mattresses, and textiles, on top of local town rules.
